Museu del Cau Ferrat
Founded in 1893 by the writer and artist Santiago Rusiñol as a home-studio for his creative work, Cau Ferrat and its gatherings became a bohemian haven within the Catalan Modernist movement. In 1933, it was established as an art museum, exhibiting Rusiñol’s collection of antique art, as well as his own works and those of his contemporaries. Maricel art complex
This monumental complex, located right next to the Cau Ferrat Museum, comprises two of Sitges’ most important museums: the Maricel Museum and the Palau de Maricel, also known as the Palau de Terra. The Maricel Museum’s art collection offers a comprehensive overview of art history from the 10th to the 20th century.
